Vocational Course Admission Levels

There are 3 ways a student can obtain an admission at Johnes Vocational Training Institute as we may see below;

  1. Students who pass PLE and they have good English
    • Admitted for a Junior Certificate in the course of their interest for 3 years (Awarded by UBTEB)
    • Admitted for a Level One Certificate in the Course of their interest for 2 years (Awarded by DIT)
  2. Students who pass O-level (UCE)
    • Admitted for a National Certificate in the course of their interest for 2 years (Awarded by UBTEB)
    • Admitted for a Level Two Certificate in the Course of their interest for 2 years (Awarded by DIT)
  3. Modular
    • Students who fail to make it to PLE / P.7 are encouraged to join the modular level and are examined by DIT.
